Rebels started as a question about uniformity. Strip away the background, the lighting, the staging, every environmental excuse a character can hide behind, and what actually remains?
What remains is 3,333 decisions. A respirator instead of a face. A crown instead of a haircut. A cigarette held like an argument. The lime field is deliberately flat and deliberately loud, because a rebel who only reads as interesting against a moody backdrop was never that interesting.
Every piece is pixel art at native resolution, no smoothing and no upscaling. The trait slots are Type, Head, Eyes, Face, and Clothes, and the distribution was left exactly as it was drawn rather than rebalanced after the fact.
